Andy In Liverpool

Andy in Liverpool after an Elvis Costello gig, June 2013.

Hello.  Welcome to my world.  Or part of it.  Or the part of it I want you to see, anyway.  My name is Andy Sweeney and I live in Brighton, on the south coast of England, in the UK.  This ‘blog originally started out as an outlet for my comedic writing and the occasional rant about the world in general.  It has gradually developed into more of a music ‘blog where I’m going through my extensive album collection, writing about whatever music takes my fancy, highlighting new releases, rounding up the best releases of the year and occasionally reviewing the many live gigs I go to.  There will still be some odd random humour posts when the mood takes me, but now it’s pretty much all about the music.

I hope you enjoy what you read.  If you don’t – well, tough.  There’s a world of stuff out there on the internet, including people doing naughty things to each other.  That’s what people tell me… I wouldn’t know, I’ve never looked.  If you want to contact me about anything you read on this ‘blog or have anything you want me to write about, leave a comment including your e-mail address and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thank you for being here, for reading this and, for that, I love you all!  Honestly.  Don’t ask for proof, though… it could get awkward.  I’m a married man.

All the best!

Andy.

Loving this blog Andy, if I’m the only one reading it, please continue writing it, it really does make me smile at the world in general 🙂

You don’t happen to drive the London central line, I remember a very funny guy driving the central line!

Love to read your various comments. You sound like an interesting young-ish man. Hope you don’t resemble the train driver in The Who’s “A Quick One While He’s Away” song.(Laughter) Your blog is cool. Your Beatles page is awesome and I’m enjoying your album collection reviews. Try not to crash any trains. Lucky guy, I always loved the idea of driving a train – maybe ’cause my Dad used to work for the Canadian National Railways. Talk again soon. Now excuse me, a good part in my porno is coming up here. Gotta go. (Just kidding.)

Hi Andrew, I wonder if you would consider reviewing our latest album?

    Many thanks
